Ultrahigh Vacuum (UHV) Systems

We have two custom-built Ultrahigh Vacuum (UHV) Systems crafted by Scienta Omicron in our research facilities. The first UHV system is equipped with a Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) known as STREAM STM from Omicron. This advanced STM allows to capture high-resolution images of catalyst surfaces at the atomic scale. Notably, the STREM STM system is designed to operate under variable temperature conditions, ranging from 10 K to 450 K, providing a versatile platform for precise imaging.

Our second UHV system is undergoing setup for activity measurement and spectroscopic studies. This integration will enable us to conduct detailed analyses and measurements, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of catalytic processes.
